Emergency Food!

Happy Sunday gorgeoouuss!! I had such a good week, and I’m sad because today is Sunday which means it’s the only one day before Monday. D’oh!

Anyway, I do really love eating. I don’t care about weight, sometimes. That’s why I learn how to cook. Because I love to experiment with recipes. It’s easy to flirt with me if you want. Just give me some food and I will be happy. LOL, just kidding! :D

And my bad habit is almost every night I feel hungry. I know it’s kinda bad habit for girls. But, who care? When night comes and there is no food on table, I will cook. And my emergency food is spaghetti oglio olio. It’s easy to make, delicious, and perfectly fill up my tummy. It will take time only 15-20 minutes. That’s why I called it emergency food.

Lets check it up the recipe on below!

Ingridients:
-          1 tea spoon of salt
-          1 tea spoon of pepper
-          3-4 cloves of garlic (if desired); peeled, sliced and minced
-          A handful of spaghetti
-          2 tablespoons of olive oil
-          1 tablespoon of butter (if desired)
-          Cheddar

Direction:

STEP 1
Bring a large pot of water and put salt and pepper generously, taste it if it’s quite enough or not, to a boil. Add half of 1 tablespoons of olive oil. Cook spaghetti in boiling water until very al dente. tender but not mushy, about 8-10 minutes. Drain pasta and reserve 2 cups pasta water.

STEP 2
Add 1 ½ tablespoons of olive oil onto pan and garlic with medium heat until fragrant and just beginning to color (do not let turn golden) is about 1 minute. Sometimes I add butter to let fragrance stronger as seen on the picture. Then add 2 cups of pasta water. Add pasta while whisk it gently until liquid is reduced about 2 minutes. Don’t let it dry so it will melted on pasta.

STEP 3
Serve pasta topped with the grated cheese

That’s simple recipe from me. It’s serve only for one person. You can do adjust more topping or seasoning. Just like on below. I added chopped of sausages and onion. It gives extra richeness with your pasta!

Good luck! And let me know if you try it. Just post your experience on comment box. Ciao!
